The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to your community.

SASSA will be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed about the significant amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly sassa status check as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The service level produced for intervention experiences a higher influx of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for the Workplace to attend sassa status to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more means to permit the servicing of all customers and raise entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
